Sahar Zangeneh, PhD
Researcher | Educator | Consultant
I am a statistician with expertise in design and analysis of experimental and observational studies, including individual- and community-randomized clinical trials, complex surveys, and epidemiological cohort studies. I integrate diverse data sources—from clinical and survey data to electronic health records—to infer population-level characteristics and generate real-world evidence.
I have extensive experience building and leading teams and conducting cross-cutting collaborations across biomedical and epidemiological domains spanning chronic and infectious diseases, neonatology, sexual and mental health, and nutrition.
I am an educator and communicator who uses data to tell stories of people and communities. Sometimes the data speaks for itself. Other times, sophisticated methods and external data are needed to address nuances and reveal a clearer picture. I am a skeptic by training but adaptable, unafraid of new paths, and eager to learn.
